These fingerless mittens are an ox-cellent addition to any winter closet. They are knit by a fiber artist named Vickie. They are knit with a blend of 50% qiviut and 50% merino wool (Beginner's Blend yarn). The qiviut is gently hand-combed from the musk oxen here on our farm, and it provides the mittens with a wonderful softness and warmth. The wool adds durability, strength, and memory to the mittens.

The mittens will only get softer as they fluff up, or "bloom," over time and with more handling. So the more you use them, the better! 

Below, you will find approximate sizing of these half mittens at rest, but the fabric has some give to it, so they are meant to stretch slightly and form to your hands.
